Manager Database
This powerful research tool is available to Hedge Fund Alert subscribers, who can use the Manager Database to see detailed views of more than 3,000 SEC-registered management firms and the 10,000+ hedge funds they run.
The information is culled from Form ADV disclosures that fund managers file with the SEC and from Hedge Fund Alert’s own research.
Here are just a few examples of how you can use the database:
• Sort fund-management firms by asset size, strategy, location, number of employees, etc.
• Organize funds by asset size, strategy, number of investors and other characteristics.
• List service providers for every fund manager, and create rosters of hedge fund clients for each of 1,900+ prime brokers, auditors and other venders.

In all, it captures key data on more than 2,100 fund launches dating back to 2000.
